This petite teapot is intentionally made for Chinese and Japanese tea, where tea is traditionally brewed in small quantities and poured across multiple infusions. Its compact size allows the leaves to steep in a concentrated volume of water, making it easy to appreciate the changing aroma and flavor of the tea with each pour.

Made in Taiwan by ceramic artist Lowe I Cheng. Born in Taipei in 1983, Lowe I Sheng has been working with clay full-time since establishing his studio in 2012. His practice centers on everyday objects, with a particular interest in simple forms, natural surfaces, and the balance between usefulness and subtle beauty.
