Building Block Etc. is a Los Angeles shop bringing together studio-made works, functional goods, and objects for everyday life. Evolving from the accessories brand Building Block (est.2011), the shop carries forward an ongoing study of material, form, and use. “Et cetera”, from the Latin word for “and the rest”, acts as both name and framework, pointing to an ongoing way of working that moves beyond discrete objects toward a broader, evolving sensibility.
