A substantially hand-built porcelain ceramic teapot with a bamboo handle. Rendered in a rich orange Shino glaze with hand-carved motifs from Garfield and other beloved images.

Made in Los Angeles by artist Ray Yanagita. Yanagita's work is influenced by high and low commodities: images, prose, poems, quotes, are strewn on hand built works transforming the clay into sculptural canvases. Glaze palettes are a mix of traditional glazes from East Asian Diaspora palettes (Celadons, Shinos, Red Iron Oxide, Copper, Manganese, Cobalt Washes) and are always food safe.
